Color: Light burgundy

Nose: Candied cherries, with some earthiness underneath

Palate: Light-bodied (as expected) I was surprised to learn that Beaujolais is actually overlaps part of the Southern part of Burgundy when I had this. It was actually labeled Burgundy. More of that candied cherry and bright red fruit on the palate, with some good acidity and little tannin. There is more of that earthiness on the palate and maybe a tingle of minerality.
