Very drinkable. Dark berry flavor with a touch of wood. Mildly astringent.

Maybe it's just me, but this one seemed a little aggressive. It's made better with aged cheddar; possibly the cheese proteins offset the tannins? Anyway, I was hoping for something a little lighter, considering the blend. For my taste, it was either too "full-bodied" or too "spicy" or too "some-term-I-haven't-learned-yet." Perhaps you will like it better...
