Color: Ruby with purple edges and highlights

Nose: Good complex mix of fruit with mainly blue and black at first, but then some nice maraschino cherry. Some good pepper here too, as well as a tinge of bramble.

Palate: Surprisingly good value here! I've been very disappointed with Ravenswood's Vintner's Blend series the last few years as it has completely fallen off in value. That value appears to have been replaced by the County series. This is a great quaffer with much more red and blue fruit in the mouthfeel with a silky feel (probably some RS, I was eating it with some sweet BBQ'd meatballs), tho still with some tannin. Lots of pepper in the finish and some tobacco, even. Great value as you can usually find it much cheaper than the 15 MSRP.
