Michael David Lodi Old 7 Deadly Zins 2005
Region: Lodi, California
Winery: Michael David
Nose: Tons of smoky oak with bramble and a little bit of dark fruit.
Palate: A bit young to be having right now, this is a blockbuster, but no real surprise there. 15% alcohol doesn't pack overly hot, a tiny bit of residual adds mouthfeel and the bramble BIG oak and dark and fruit come in. Not quite integrated yet, but good for this type of Zin.
