Longboard Vineyards Dakine Vineyard Syrah 2004
Region: Russian River Valley, California
Winery: Longboard Vineyards
Variety: Syrah, Zinfandel, Malbec, Petite Syrah, Carignane, Grenache
Color: Dark garnet
Nose: Great complexity and some Old World structure, but with great fruit to back it up. Nose is doing quite well despite its youth.
Palate: Great structure and super-smooth mouthfeel complete the start of the great dark fruit. Definite black pepper. Just loving this wine. Wait for now, however.
