Georis Winery Le Sanglier Estate Merlot 2004

Color: Dark ruby
Nose: Lots of cherry, those Carmel tannins and even some floral notes.
Palate: A great wine deal from Georis. Estate fruit that didn't make it to the high-end Estate Merlot, this is a great wine. Very good Old World structure, as expected, and lots of earthy notes with great acidity. Those floral notes are still there, as well, framed by unintrusive oak.
