    Color: Medium dark ruby

Nose: Beautiful ripe dark fruit with lots of cherry. Just a touch of toasty oak to round it out.

Palate: Wow, this is such a great wine and as such, a huge value. Coming from one of the finest vintages in the last 100 years in Bordeaux (uhh, wasn't that supposed to 2000?). Anyway, that dark black fruit with cassis and some anise, even, really hits home on this wine. The structure more then stands up to the fruit however, providing a wonderful integrated wine, even when so young.
