Color: Dark almost black

Nose: Anise, black pepper and spicy cedar; WOW!

Palate: This is a highly unique wine at a crazy-low price. You will not find many wines that has these characteristics. A wine from a mountain sub-appellation single vineyard made up of a field blend of 90 year old, head pruned vines that is in the low $40s?? Crazy, I tell you. This wine is incredibly interesting, with the same flavors as the aromas, as well as smooth, medium-tannic elegant finish that goes for days. Fascinating!
