The bouquet on this wine is loaded with fruit. This is a bright wine with flavors of black cherries, herbs and plum. The smoky influence comes from just the right amount of oak. The tannins are noticeably in balance. This wine is pleasant to drink now, and it will only get better with age. Compliments hearty stews, rich lasagnas, or try it with dark chocolate.
