Ne Cede Malis comes from the Latin phrase,“Don’t give in to misfortune,” and is the motto of Stags’ Leap’s Victorian founder Horace Chase. This Rhône-style field blend of Petite Sirah, Carignane, Mourvèdre, Grenache, Peloursin, Syrah, and Viognier hails from the oldest vines on the property and is a wine with extraordinary depth and complexity, bold tannins and a long, elegant finish. It’s one of those rare and unique wines that has no equal.
