    TASTING NOTES:
Stags’ Leap’s signature brambly character is immediately recognizable in this elegant wine. Aromas of black currant, boysenberry, and dark chocolate intermingle with cinnamon, cardamom and clove spice nuances. On the lush mid-palate, red cherry and raspberry fruit flavors are highlighted by a bright, well-integrated acidity. Berry fruit, chocolate and licorice are carried into a long, full-bodied finish. Brittan says: “This 2002 Stags’ Leap Winery Estate Merlot reminds me of liquid velvet!"
    REVIEWS:
Hidden Treasures After a beautiful and dense color you’ll discover an explosion of floral aromas from the moment you start swirling the wine in the glass. Elegant spice, peppery nose, and wonderful ripe red fruit notes add to a silky balanced texture. Medium to full body expresses roundness and warmth.
