54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 46% Shiraz. A firm, fine-grained and tight-knit blend based on vibrant and deeply flavoured cabernet and shiraz fruit. Its smoky, lightly meaty aromas of cassis, sweet plums and mocha/chocolate oak are backed by minty undertones of violets and menthol. Fine and silky, it’s long, willowy and charming, presenting a purity of fruit rare for this vintage. With a fleshy, creamy texture framed by bony tannins, it offers genuine elegance and refinement – hardly qualities recently attributable to this label. Cellar: 5-15 years.

Dense velvet red in the glass. Dark fruit, chocolate and black currant develops into a typical rich, soft fruit driven palate with excellent length and soft supple tannins, great depth and a complex yet elegant structure.
