Georis Winery Carmel Valley Les Abeilles Rosé 2006

Variety: Merlot
Color: Beautiful light, salmon pink
Nose: Big aromas, lots of strawberry, peach pear and sage
Palate: Pollen and strawberry dominate, but the dry and crisp finish is accompanied by lively acidity. This winery's 2000 Carmelo Rosato got me OBSESSED with dry rosé. I look forward to each year's release of small productions. They now have two, the Carmelo Rosato and the new, higher end Les Abeilles
