Nice Pinot Noir. Good everyday wine. Solid.

    Color: Medium ruby

Nose: Closed at first, but after a few minutes those good varietally correct Pinot characteristics come out with some red fruit, particularly tart cherry.

Palate: Medium-bodied, another good quaffer, GeraldQ nailed it. Took a few minutes, but then opened up with some upfront fruit, but good acidity and a touch of dusty tannins and spice.

the Monterrey is not as good. I should probably try another bottle because mine was mushroomy and earthy
