Bold flavored red, best with meats or for drinking by full bodied wine lovers. Dark black cherry ruby color. This bottle had a flowery rose smell and hints of cassis. Flavors of black cherry and hints of vanilla and chocolate. The wine was silky smooth and smoky tasting. This is a great wine for the full bodied drinker, for the price. It does not however have complex notes or flavors. Out of 4 people in our party: two absolutely loved it; 2 liked it, but did not think it incredible and the last stated they would drink it; but was not in line with their personal tastes.
