An opaque jet black robe leads to a bold attack, transitioning into a weighty, layered mid-palette of infinite complexity. The finish is supple and round with good length and exquisitely forged tannins.

Any time I pay $250 for a magnum, it had better come with a sexy mexican maid and an RU486 pill. I kid, I kid. This overpriced wine tasted almost watered down, although it did have a charming smoky apple flavor. Almost like an overdone microbrew, or fruity rauchbock, in the parlance of our [beer] time. My ignorant ass must have missed all the complexities that I paid for, or perhaps my expectations were too high. (Or maybe I should stop drinking wine with my ass -- there, I said it for you.)
