Light straw color--very clear, but some suspended solids. Pear and grass on the nose. Crisp and very dry mouth-feel. Taste does not live up to the lively nose. Finish lingers with some mineral taste. Had this wine with a lemon and fennel crusted halibut and roasted veggies. The acid in the wine paired well with the citrus. The wine was much better with food than on its own.
