Color: lighter violet/garnet with burgundy edges

Nose: Beautiful dusty Carmel tannins frame a lavender, pepper, 5 spice and mint medley to accompany the more bright fruit of blackberry, blueberry and bright red cherry.

Palate: Almost racy acidity confirms this as Carmel fruit, and food friendly, at that. Fully integrated oak peers out from the depths of the same fruit combination found in the nose. Tannins are completely round and add further structure to this wonderfully balanced wine and lead into the long cherry, menthol and lavender finish. Drink now or hold for a few more years.
