Nose: Restrained but noble bouquet of creme de cassis, vanilla and lead pencil

Palate: medium to full-bodied effort is elegant and concentrated with well-balanced tannin as well as extraction.

Tightly wound, with a mix of dried currant, herb, sage and cedary oak. Well-proportioned, focused, intense and concentrated, yet with an elegant lift on the finish. Best from 2009 through 2018. 3,600 cases made
