Perhaps the ultimate "penalty shot", this witches' brew is sold as a cooking wine. Those brave enough to try it straight will find that it packs a powerful wallop. The heat blooms on the palate within moments, establishes a lovely green-jalapeno dominated flavor, and then torches its way down the gullet, leaving all but the strongest members of the species teary-eyed and gasping.
Chase it with some Ritz crackers and Easy-cheese for a lively aperitif. You can use a "real" cheese, but choose a creamy one-you need lots of fat and cracker crumbs to soak up the hot oils tormenting your tastebuds.

Comment: Three stars for a fiery swallow that would be great in many recipes needing flavor and heat. A little goes a long way.
