Deep ruby in color, with delicate aromas of black cherry, white pepper, and thyme, followed by flavors of cherry, raspberry, anise, and fennel, with black pepper on the finish. Medium-bodied. Not bad for a $5 bargain from Trader Joe's! Definitely a good pizza party or everyday wine.
