I raved and raved so much about the mass-produced KJ Cabernet that I just had to go out and get some. Usually I am overpaying by about 700% for this wine in some stuffy restaurant, but this time I got to enjoy it at home with a fat juicy NY strip steak, all for less than $25. This is a wine that can benefit from a bit of breathing; if you just pour it into your glass and guzzle away, then the alcohol may overtake the subtly delicious flavors. Therefore, either use a decanter or just let your glass sit for a couple minutes after pouring before taking the first sip.
