Color: Dark dark garnet

Nose: Some good cabernet characteristics here, with nice dark fruit and maybe some cherry, but it was hard to tell. Not a fruit bomb.

Palate: Quite a good Old World style Cab here, especially for the price. Dark fruit is very-well balanced here with the acidic structure. The tannins are incredibly smooth, so smooth, in fact, that I'm not sure that you'd be ale to age this for any longer than 6 years, or so, after the vintage date. Finish is medium long, but could have been longer and I would have thought that it'd finish better for such a balanced wine. It truly is a steal, as mentioned in CH's notes on the wine!
