Andrea, I found some good info on Wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Port_wine
The 2007 here probably refers to the bottling date. Because it's "40 year tawny", the juice must have spent an average of 40 years in barrels.
From the WikiPedia article: "Tawny with an indication of age is a blend of several vintages, with the average years 'in wood' stated on the label, the official categories being 10, 20, 30 and over 40 years. For each category, the average age of the various vintage is at least that of the given category."

Found this in two locations in Indianapolis. Kahn's Wines carries it for $115+, but it has to be ordered typically. I have also found it at Costco for $109.97. Both of these were confirmed over the weekend of 10/27/2007.
Personally, this wine is a very fine element when having an exceptional meal and you need an incredibly superb finish and you want to impress who you are with. Remember the only people that will be impressed are those that "know" port. If they don't know port...you just wasted $100+! Save the money and buy a 20 year...just as smooth on your pallate, but not a waste with those who don't know.
