Color: Light straw
Nose: Honeysuckle at first, then melon and some light citrus. Flower petals fill in the high end, with a hint of cream in the deep end.
Palate: Medium bodied, big lemon custard with some lime to back it up, then melon, sweeter green apple and finishing with a nice crisp, balanced finish ending with some more lemon and lime. Good stuff!

Ceja Napa Valley Vino de Casa White 2006
Region: Napa Valley, California
Winery: Ceja Vineyards
Variety: Chardonnay, Marsanne, Viognier
Whenever I see a blended white wine (specifically with a Latin influence), I can't seem to pass it up. This wine is very crisp and the citrus-y/bright flavors are noticeable even at the first sip (when the wine was definitely a little too chilled). We enjoyed sipping the wine with a meal of carrot soup and flatbread pizzas at a restaurant called Farm in the Napa Valley.
Try the wine (and try the restaurant if you can).
