Monkey Bay Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2006

a clear pale youthful pale gold in color. pronounced aromas of ripe apple, peach maybe vanilla. with possible eucalyptus and hay. dry, with a high acidity and med body. Tasted of grapefruit, lime, white pepper, almonds and toasted butter. pretty good

Color: Straw

Nose: Yellow apple, apricot, citrus, but not very tart citrus like a Meyer lemon. Very refreshing.

Palate: Lots of that yellow apple, with white fruit and light citrus, but a bit of a creamy mouthfeel, as well. Finishes refreshingly with more citrus and even some quite pepper. Pretty good.
