For the money, you cannot beat the value of this Riesling. When you consider that this bottle cost $6 at your local grocery store and for the same $6 you can get a dry nasty glass of Fetzer at a restaurant, it's a steal.

We had a glass of this wine at a party yesterday and my first response was that it tasted like Smarties, those pill-like childhood candies. Very sweet, citrusy and somewhat chalky all at the same time.

I thought it was decent like most Yellow Tail wines. Good for the money. But I would try to find something different for a party, etc, since Yellow Tail is so played out.

I liked Bridgeview Blue Moon Riesling 2006, which was about $9 a bottle.
