It's made from syrah, mourvedre, grenache and carignane (percentages unknown). Notwithstanding the hokey UFO marketing, this wine comes on strong like a good Rhone blend ought to. Strong smoky berry aroma and when it first hits the tongue it feels rich and semi-full. Unfortunately, it crash lands soon afterwards with a finish so weak and thin that your mouth forgets what was in it - maybe it's some kind of alien brain wipe but by the time I was done swallowing I couldn't remember what it was that impressed me about the first taste. It's drinkable, especially at the price, but I'd rather drink something more substantial.
