I was given the 2006 version of this wine. I thought it was a smooth, flavorful varietal. In the past I have not enjoyed Malbecs, finding them weak and tannic. This one was richer and less tannic. I liked it.

I was surprised by how much I liked this wine. Very smooth, pleasantly fruity, but not overly sweet. Not very complex, but that's not always a bad thing. A good choice for those who are just beginning to acquire a taste for wine.
