Campo Viejo Tempranillo 2000

Full of spice, cherries, and currant. This wine really needs to breathe to develop the flavors. At first, the nose is strong alcohol but later turns into spicy black cherry. It also makes your tongue tingle with delight.

Kim have to agree with you on this one. strong alcohol but is such a delightful drink. Not a wine I'd really drink on its own but definately one of those to drink with a nice red meat dish. Having watched a programme on the Rioja region, Spain, it looks an absolutely gorgeous places to visi. So take a look if you are coming to Europe.

I agree as well. I was a little leary by the alcohol smell upon first pour, but it really had a nice smooth finish. I even had this with tacos and it was great! ;)
