Silky red fruits, with no obvious tannins and a long, sweet finish. Component #2: Deeper cherry and blackberry aromas and flavors. Weighty, chewy and powerful. Component #3: Intensely spiced red berry aromas. Zesty raspberry and red cherry flavors are tightly wound but sweet, with good finishing thrust. The generous fruit makes it easy drinking, without being sweet. The fine acidity makes it food-friendly, and allows the wine to dance on the tongue! The color is bright and light, almost closer to the yellow-green of a Sauvignon Blanc. The nose is rich with honey, guava, and allspice. Very clean. The attack is fruit forward, but balanced.
