Personal Notes	Sourced by winery owner Joel Gott from vineyards throughout California (in Napa, Lodi and Amador counties), Gott's 2004 vintage fruit had a tight "set" during bloom, and small berry development during ripening. This wine is a lovely, dark purple in color with sweet, soft, ripe tannins, exhibiting richness and balance, dark cherry-berry flavors and pepper-spice aromas. - Peter Morrell Forbes Wine

There are usually fewer than 500 cases of this effort, which generally reveals southern Rhone-like garrigue characteristics along with plenty of soil overtones, fresh black cherries, and a spicy, heady finish.

Personally we enjoyed this wine with a wonderful squab at the Farmhouse Inn and Restaurant in Sonoma County.		4/5 Stars. 1 2 3 4 5
