Inky purple-black in color, with a violet rim. Aromas of blueberry, violet, elderberry, fennel, tea leaves, and vanilla bean. Slight tannins, with flavors of blackberry, blueberry, thyme, and a hint of cinnamon on the finish. An elegant and feminine wine. - 12/26/2007 |

Ruby in color, lightly transparent; floral aromas, with red cherry, blueberry, violet, and vanilla bean; medium-bodied, with pleasant flavors of ripe cherry, raspberry, and blueberry, with herbal and mineral notes. A nice finish of cinnamon and clove. Quite delightful. - 12/21/2007 |

Deep ruby in color, with aromas of tobacco, smoke, eucalyptus, and delicate black fruits; offers flavors of black cherry, blackberry, cassis, toast, and cocoa powder; not an intense finish,though there is a hint of spice - not profound. Deep ruby in color, with delicate aromas of black cherry, white pepper, and thyme, followed by flavors of cherry, raspberry, anise, and fennel, with black pepper on the finish. Medium-bodied. Not bad for a $5 bargain from Trader Joe's! Definitely a good pizza party or everyday wine. - 12/18/2007 |
