Nov. 28, 2008	Deakin Estate Chardonnay 2006 Deakin Estate Chardonnay 2006 Region: Victoria, Australia > Winery: Deakin Estate Variety: Chardonnay Appearance: Light colour with a bit of green. Aroma: Clear peach and strong baked beans (perhaps this is a tomato aroma) Flavour: Feels a bit too acid on the first sip, but this sensation disappears quickly and some great after taste that makes you want more. - 12/15/2008		3/5 Stars. 1 2 3 4 5

Nov. 22, 2008	Angove's Nine Vines 2008 Angove's Nine Vines 2008 Region: Renmark, South Australia, Australia > Winery: Angove's Variety: Grenache, Syrah This wine has a beautiful light red colour and it is quite fruity on the nose. If it was not for the appearance and a little something in the taste I would never tell this was not a white. Tasting Notes & Comments	This wine has a beautiful light red colour and it is quite fruity on the nose. If it was not for the appearance and a little something in the taste I would never tell this was not a white. Oct. 18, 2008	Rosemount Sangiovese 2006 Rosemount Sangiovese 2006 Region: Hunter Valley, New South Wales, Australia > Winery: Rosemount Estate Variety: Sangiovese Appearance: Clear, bright but deep red colour (does that make any sense?) Aroma: Lightly spicy, some fruit, perhaps a bit of wood Palate: I like the grape feeling of this wine, perhaps is about the Sangiovese varietal that I am not familiar with. The tanins are light and the acidity feels just right. Aftertaste: Leaves a nice finishing on the month, like a fine coating that remind you that you had a good wine. A red with median to light body. I liked it overall, since it goes easy on the month and could even be drunk in quantity. - 10/18/2008		3/5 Stars. 1 2 3 4 5

Appearance: Deep, golden yellow colour. Aroma: Sweet aroma typical of the Gewurztraminer wines. Palate: Also a typical Gewurztraminer, but with a more intense flavour that I was used too. Appearance: Light yellow towards green. Aroma: Can't recall any specifics. Palate: Don't recall it to be a strong wine, but it was much drier than sweet. It was a soft and easy on the month wine.
