Nov. 15, 2009	Folie à Deux Ménage à Trois 2008 Folie à Deux Ménage à Trois 2008 Region: California > Winery: Folie à Deux Variety: Ménage à Trois Spicy notes most noticeable, very full and a lot of pepper after-taste. A 2.5 for Rachel, more like a 1 for Jake (because he isn't a big fan of the reds). From their website: Even if red wine is not your speed, give our Ménage à Trois Red a try. This wine exposes the fresh, ripe, jam-like fruit that is the calling card of California wine. Three saucy grapes make up the blend. Zinfandel adds a juicy character, Merlot mellows and Cabernet adds backbone. Forward, spicy and soft, this delicious dalliance makes the perfect trio. - 11/15/2009		2/5 Stars. 1 2 3 4 5

Nov. 14, 2009	Ste. Chapelle Soft Chenin Blanc 2007 Ste. Chapelle Soft Chenin Blanc 2007 Region: Idaho > Winery: Ste. Chapelle Variety: Soft Chenin Blanc Yummers...definite pear flavour, major fruit flavours, very succulent. Moderate acidity, but not dry. Very sweet, and we loved that, of course. A very solid wine. From their site: delicate pear and melon aromas and lusciously fruity flavors; delightful on its own or with fruit, cheese and light desserts. - 11/14/2009		5/5 Stars. 1 2 3 4 5

Nov. 7, 2009	Barefoot Cellars Sauvignon Blanc 2008 Barefoot Cellars Sauvignon Blanc 2008 Region: Napa Valley > Winery: Barefoot Cellars Variety: Sauvignon Blanc Can certainly taste the alcohol at swallow as well Rachel enjoyed it more than Jake.....drier than the sweet wines we're used to. Oct. 26, 2009	Stone Hill Golden Rhine 2008 Stone Hill Golden Rhine 2008 Region: Hermann, Missouri > Winery: Stone Hill Variety: Golden Rhine The fruity Catawba grape is the primary variety in the blend with some white European-American hybrid grapes blended in. It's cold fermented to retain the fresh fruity aromas and flavors. One of the best...very, very good vino. - 10/26/2009 A semi-sweet, traditional German-style white wine, similar to an Auslese. Golden Rhine has luscious ripe grape aromas and flavors that linger on the palate. Excellent with fresh fruit or other light desserts. - 11/07/2009		5/5 Stars. 1 2 3 4 5

A really delightful wine - 10/26/2009 Grapes for the California Collection Moscato were picked as soon as they achieved the perfect balance of ripe fruit flavors and vibrant structure. Winemaking techniques were employed to maintain the vivid flavors naturally found in Moscato grapes...This carefully crafted wine offers immediately pleasing peach-scented and honeysuckle aromas with fresh, sweet flavors of juicy stone fruit, honeydew melon, Fuji apple and ripe pears.
