Jan. 13, 2012	Columbia Crest Grand Estates Chardonnay 2009 Columbia Crest Grand Estates Chardonnay 2009 Region: Columbia Valley > Winery: Columbia Crest Variety: Chardonnay The nose offers a heavy graham cracker and toasted marshmallow aroma. The flavor is slightly citrusy and tropical with a strong oaky aftertaste (vanilla and graham cracker). This wine is delicious for a low-price chardonnay. This is another one I will be keeping on my wine rack (keeping in mind, though, that I love a heavy oak taste). Dec. 31, 2011	Gnarly Head Chardonnay 2009 Gnarly Head Chardonnay 2009 Region: Manteca, CA > Winery: Gnarly Head Variety: Chardonnay I disagree about the aroma. I get ripe banana and pinapple on the nose. The taste isn't nearly as "tropical" as the label promises, but there is a slight citrus taste with an extremely full-bodied mouthfeel and a nice graham cracker and vanilla aftertaste. I'm a fan of a strong oak aftertaste and this wine delivers. Not the greatest wine I've ever tasted, but definitely something I'll be keeping on my wine rack at all times. - 12/31/2011		0/5 Stars. 1 2 3 4 5

A very refreshing, semi-dry chardonnay. Very oaky nose with a mild pear taste and a strong oak aftertaste with light vanilla tones. Delicious. - 12/17/2011		5/5 Stars. 1 2 3 4 5
