One my favorite standard white wines to have on hand at all times. An excellent choice with any meal. |

Soft undertones of pear or maybe apple allow this pinot blanc to slide across one's palate with ease. It is incredibly easy to drink an entire bottle in one sitting with a loved one as this wine is smooth and soft and delights from sip one to the end. - 03/24/2008

Not a very complex wine, this typical Chianti does accompany a strong red sauce pasta dish, like spaghetti or lasagna, quite well. |

Typical of a Chianti Riserva, this wine will not disappoint, although it is a rather simple wine for standard Italian dishes like spaghetti or lasagna. The solid, hearty flavor of the grape really shines through in this Chianti. - 02/14/2008

A better-than-most French red, I like this wine best with a cheese platter appetizer, or as a finer common dinner drinking wine. |

A light butter flavor begins this wine, followed by a nice transition into the dry, earthen finish of this French red. Would go well with Brie or other fine cheeses. - 01/26/2008

A personal favorite of mine. An excellent wine that is not a boring "typical" wine that most people buy at the store. |

Dry, red with subtle hints of oak and cherry. Needs at least 30 minutes to fully open up, and would be best served in a decanter to allow for the fullness of the wine to emerge. Goes great with red meat. - 01/26/2008
