The smell upon uncorking was fruity and sweet, almost like chocolate covered cherries, without the chocolate. And the taste was very similar. It was very jammy with this creamy vanilla finish to it that just made me shake my head...how did they pull that off? It was a good wine. Just a good wine, not a spectacular wine. I will try it again tomorrow night to make sure, but I don't think it will change my initial impression. - 09/19/2008

I am biased. This winery is a local one and I tried the wine because friends of mine kept insisting...and they were right. I'm not a big wine-drinker, still learning what I enjoy. |

Sweet, full-bodied, somewhat jammy taste. Not cloyingly sweet, but ripe and fruity. You know this came from some of the prettiest grapes God created! It goes down very easy, the alcohol taste is very understated. Great wine if you are a "wine virgin". I highly recommend it for anyone, though. - 09/13/2008
