Amazing! tasting this was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, as I am not likely to ever have the money to buy a bottle myself. I am lucky enough to have been invited to the home of friends who opened this fabulous bottle (and decanted it properly into a Riedel crystal decanter, and serve it in Riedel Sommelier's crystal Bordeaux glasses. What an experience! A big, hairy-chested red. Very tannic, very fruity. Dark-fruity, for lack of a better explanation. You'll taste blackberry, you'll taste a cherry that's almost jam-rich, in addition to stone, and a scent of cassis. Tasted it after the recommended decade of cellaring. Backward finish. - 01/01/2008
