Very dark, nearly opaque in glass. Generous nose of black cherry, blackberry, campfire, coffee, black pepper, and licorice. Hefty mouthfeel, this wine is all about structure. Finish is long with firm somewhat bitter tannins. A very brooding, dark, masculine wine. Rounded out a little after 2 hours in the decanter. Tasting Notes & Comments	Very dark, nearly opaque in glass. Generous nose of black cherry, blackberry, campfire, coffee, black pepper, and licorice. Hefty mouthfeel, this wine is all about structure. Finish is long with firm somewhat bitter tannins. A very brooding, dark, masculine wine. Rounded out a little after 2 hours in the decanter. Should get better with age. - 04/20/2008
