Around the Winosphere

Via Pete Wells at Diner’s Journal, Mo Rocca and other “edgier” folks to get shows on a Food Network spinoff. It’s called the Cooking Channel.

Catavino asks what impact will the Iceland volcano eruption have on European vineyards.

Dr. Vino calms us down with an info-graphic for determining the threat level of the HR 5034 bill. It’s cool. We’re just at “high shoulder” level.

Finally this post by Alder Yarrow has me mad. Not because the FTC is complicating things or being unfair with bloggers. Those things suck, but I’m mostly mad because I’m not on the Rodney Strong freebie list even though they are “one of the more frequent shippers of wine samples to bloggers”. (Seriously though, this whole print media > web media thing should have been debunked for most intelligent folks by now.)
