We haven’t been posting much lately, but a lot of folks on the internet have been writing about wine. To get your fix, check out some of these interesting blogs and news articles I ran across lately.

20-somethings acquire taste for fine vintages. The Canadian Press.
This is a sentiment we agree with 100%. The article talks about the iYellow Wine Club, which has an interesting looking blog and will be on my reading list. Maybe they need a WineLog group.

The crazy folks at Twisted Oak are organzing Take Your Rubber Chicken to Work Week Feb. 4-10. Send them photos of you and your chicken getting busy (at work) and they’ll give you prizes. I think they should sell the chicken through their website. Or at least link to a Rubber Chicken at Amazon.com.

Paul Mabray, CEO of Inertia, writes about the math of malining list campaigns. We’ve been working on our retail partnerships (including Inertia and their 300+ wineries) and hope to start sending our mailing list folks recommendations of in-stock wines they can purchase. So we’ll be testing out this math soon.

High Ratings for German Wines. Wein-Plus.
I’m reading Wine Spectator now and also noticed the high number of 95+ rating wines in Germany. I guess it’s time to pick up some fine German Wines.

BTW, Scrugy is a great place to go if you are bored and want to read up on wine. They have a really nice wine news and blog aggregator there.
