We’re slowly rolling out new WineLog groups. In July, we created a private group for members of the Young Presidents Organization. This weekend, we’ve just launched our first public group for fans of Twisted Oak wines.
Twisted Oak is a winery out of Calaveras County, California, run by a tech-savvy old fart they call “El Jefe”. You might have seen his posts on this blog or his own blogo torcido. Twisted Oak is a fun, forward thinking, winery… the type with fans who would appreciate a WineLog group. They even have a Twisted Oak group over at Facebook if you’re setup there.
Let us know what groups you want to see and become a part of. How about “The Principato Rosato Gang” or “The White Lovers Minority” or “Wine Noobs”? And please, other wineries and organizations with existing wine groups looking to use WineLog to connect, contact us as well.

Hi Jason, this is a fun idea. The more time I spend on the site, the more I enjoy meals and the hobby of knowing a little bit about wine.
I live in Ontario, and drink Ontario wines regularly, but not exclusively. I’d be interested in an Ontario Wine Group. If there are others out there with the same idea, it would be fun to start it up.

Sounds like a plan Patrick. I’m not sure how many users we have from Ontario, but if you bring along some of your friends and maybe we find some Ontario group (on Facebook or another network) to invite, it could work out.
