Hi WineLog fans. I’m Winesmith, a transplant from Michigan’s Upper Peninsula living in Washington, DC, who keeps a wine blog at www.winesmithblog.com.

Jason and Kim flattered me with the opportunity to contribute to the blog on the new version of WineLog. Unfortunately for them, I accepted!

So this is my introduction…saying hello Upper Peninsula style. I hope you’ll say “yah” back to me (”ya sure ya betcha” is okay, too).

Speaking of Michigan…During my last trip there I picked up a few wines, including a pinot noir I sipped this past weekend with a friend. You’ll have to check out my own winelog to see what I thought of it.
