BusinessWeek has jumped on the wine bandwagon. (I can’t blame them, as I’m on that bandwagon as well.) In the June 26 issue, they announced that Robert Parker will be writing a weekly column about his favorite wines.

Parker’s first column makes note of seven Rosés. The selection spans everything from a $6 bottle of Dominio de Eguren’s 2005 Protocolo Rosada to a $150 bottle of Billecart-Salmon 1996 Cuveé Elizabeth Salmon Rosé.

I’ve logged the whole bunch and tagged them under BussinessWeek. I’m not up-to-date on what Robert’s written about the past two weeks. If anyone wants to volunteer to maintain these wines in the future, there’s a free WineLog t-shirt in it for you (when we get them made). Drop us a note.

In all seriousness, this is pretty cool. Wine is a subject that I’m sure more than one business person is interested in. I remember asking an executive at work, who had a fondness for wines, how to start a wine collection. His answer was “get an expense account”. Well, lots of people with expense accounts read BusinessWeek. Maybe they’ll start taking up Parker’s advice when entertaining clients.

This sounds like great news. While I’m not voluteering for the task at hand (sorry) I’d be very happy to purchase a WineLog shirt when they become available. They will be offered for sale, right?
